Don't these plates look too hip? The folklore motif makes me think of those old fairy tales like The Bremen Town Musicians that my mother read to me when I was a child.
OH. WOW. Those are beautiful! They remind me of when we were in Oregon. I'm thinking we were in Seaside, but we found this wonderful shop run by a young Turkish fellow, and he had part of a wall dedicated to exquisite ceramics, much like these. I wanted to eat the lot of them.
